This is what God says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Jesus also said, "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
"This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."
In order to be born again, (converted to faith in Jesus Christ) you must do the following: Realize you are a sinner and in need of God's salvation. It's as simple as ABC.
Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I repent and turn away from my sins from this day forward. I surrender to You, make You the Lord of my life and will serve You the rest of my days. I believe You died for my sins at the cross and rose from the dead. Please guide my steps so that I may honor You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- ASK THE LORD JESUS TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS (this is repentance)
- BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD FOR YOUR SINS
- CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD
